Strasbaugh Officers Chairman of the Board & CEO - Alan Strasbaugh Executive Vice President & CFO - Richard Nance Vice President of Sales & Marketing - Mike Kirkpatrick   Alan Strasbaugh, Chairman of the Board Alan Strasbaugh has served as our Board Chairman since May 2007 and as Board Chairman of our operating subsidiary, R. H. Strasbaugh since 1978.  Mr. Strasbaugh started employment at Strasbaugh in 1961.  For the first ten years he worked in most phases of manufacturing and engineering, followed by eight years of manufacturing management, then ten years as General Manager and Director of Operations.   He was CEO from 1990 to 1998, growing annual sales from $8 million to $80 million.  He resumed the CEO position in 2010.  He has a B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.  He has been awarded nine U.S. patents related to semiconductor manufacturing.   Richard Nance, CPA, Chief Financial Officer Richard has over 25 years of experience in finance and accounting and currently oversees the Accounting, Human Resources and Information Technology departments at Strasbaugh. He has worked as a chief financial officer for both public and private companies involved in software technology, manufacturing and international sales and distribution. Richard is a Licensed Certified Public Accountant with prior experience as a National Bank Examiner with the U.S. Comptroller of the Currency, a commercial banker, and has over 13 years of experience in business consulting, strategic planning and advisory services. Richard holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Banking & Finance from North Texas State University, a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Central State University of Oklahoma and holds memberships in the American Institute of CPA’s and the California Society of CPAs.     Mike Kirkpatrick, Vice President - Worldwide Sales and Marketing Mike is responsible for the sales and marketing of all of our products worldwide. In his 14 years of sales management and leadership experience, Mike has served as U.S. Sales Manager and General Manager for our data storage business and has been actively involved in our CMP program. Mike helped pioneer the application of CMP for read/write head fabrication. During his career at Strasbaugh, Mike has been personally responsible for over $100 million in semiconductor equipment sales. He was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Marketing from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, CA.
